Beaduck Privacy Policy

Beaduck is developed and operated by independent developer Qi Chen. This policy explains how the app handles information created while you use it.

Effective July 30, 2026

1. We don’t collect your personal data

Beaduck has no account system, developer-operated server, advertising service, or analytics service. The developer doesn’t receive, upload, sell, or share your photos, fuse bead projects, usage history, or device identifiers.

“Collect” means transmitting data away from your device so that it can be retained by the developer or a third-party service integrated by the developer. Beaduck does not do this.

2. Content processed and stored on your device

When you deliberately select an image, Beaduck reads it on your device to generate or recognize a fuse bead pattern. Source images, thumbnails, pattern grids, generation settings, and statistics remain in the app’s private storage and aren’t uploaded to the developer.

Beaduck also stores limited local records in the iOS Keychain to maintain the start of the 30-day trial and continuity for a permanent unlock that Apple previously verified. These records don’t contain your Apple ID, card details, or full payment information.

3. Photo access

Image import uses Apple’s system photo picker. Beaduck receives only the images you explicitly select. When saving an exported PNG to Photos, Beaduck requests add-only access and doesn’t use that permission to browse your full photo library.

You can change photo access at any time in iOS Settings. Denying photo add access doesn’t prevent pattern generation or reading, but it prevents saving exported images directly to Photos.

4. In-app purchases

The permanent unlock is processed by Apple StoreKit. Apple manages product information, payments, refunds, and the Apple Account under Apple’s own privacy practices. Beaduck reads Apple-verified purchase entitlement only to decide whether to unlock the app. The developer doesn’t receive your payment card details.

For information about Apple’s data practices, read the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Retention and deletion

You can delete individual projects inside Beaduck. Deleting the app normally removes project files in its private container, so export any patterns you want to keep before uninstalling.

Trial and purchase-continuity records in the iOS Keychain may remain after deleting and reinstalling the app. This helps prevent an inconsistent trial state and supports legitimate purchase restoration. The records remain on the device and can’t be accessed or deleted remotely by the developer. Purchase records held by Apple can be managed through your Apple Account and Apple Support.

6. Children’s privacy

Beaduck doesn’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app has no public community, user accounts, advertising, or user-content upload service.

7. Changes to this policy

If Beaduck later adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or another feature that changes its data practices, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before that feature becomes available.
